An Impact Investing Ecosystem Support Program that provides both capital and capacity supports for enterprises, organizations and funds seeking to start or scale their impact, particularly focused on rural regions in Colombia, women, and climate action.
This impact investing infrastructure program will seek to leverage and support the work of existing stakeholders while tactically filling any gaps with resources and new programs. It will be designed and deployed by SVX in collaboration with ecosystem partners.

Subprogram 1: Innovative Accelerator Program
Funds
The Fund Accelerator is a capacity-building program providing technical knowledge, advice, and peer support, for innovative funds and funds developing emergent strategies in Colombia focused on rural regions, women, and climate action. This program involved an intensive educational program over six months, followed by one-on-one coaching and technical assistance, alongside targeted grants for high potential, high impact funds.
Out of the nine funds, five stated that their investment thesis includes a geographical focus on rural areas, and six incorporate a climate or biodiversity approach.

Corporations
Our Corporate Impact Investing Accelerator is a capacity-building program providing technical knowledge, advice, and peer support, for innovative corporations seeking to drive positive social and environmental impact.
Our goal is to support the start-up and scale-up of corporate impact investing strategies, build capacity of corporates in impact investing, and ultimately mobilize new impact capital to drive social, economic and environmental justice. The program includes over 80 participants from ten (10) large corporations in Canada and Colombia.

SVX provides direct support to impact enterprises in Colombia through a combination of grants and technical assistance to build their capacity to scale their impact focused on climate action and biodiversity, gender equality, and rural development.

Accelerators
Our involvement in supporting accelerators and acceleration programs is extensive, with nine accelerators and 11 programs in its project portfolio. This translates to a total of 14 cohorts across various initiatives. This includes notable accelerators like EmprendeVerde and ImpactHub, each running two cohorts per year. The overarching goal of this initiative is ambitious yet concrete: to foster a thriving ecosystem of innovative and impactful enterprises.

Subprogram 3: Investor Education Program
Our Investor Education Program is a capacity-building program designed to train investors in key impact investing strategies, with a particular focus on gender-lens investing, climate finance, and impact measurement.

Subprogram 4: Ecosystem
The Ecosystem subprogram aims to strengthen the enabling environment for impact investing in Colombia. We work alongside the government and key stakeholders to promote policy dialogue and supporting the development of an impact investment wholesaler to mobilize capital at scale.
