Bridging Community-led Regeneration and Impact-Driven Climate Finance
LARIS seeks to spotlight the transformative potential of regenerative investments in Latin America. By bringing together farmers, investors, food businesses, organizations, and other aligned actors, we aim to build a vibrant network rooted in regenerative practices.
At its core, LARIS is about bridging two worlds: community-led regeneration and impact-driven climate finance. Our goal is to show how these visions can reinforce each other, unlocking innovative, sustainable solutions for the region.
The business sector plays a pivotal role in forging these cross-sector connections—helping catalyze a future where regeneration is not only essential but also attractive, profitable, and investable. This conversation brings together on-the-ground practitioners, agricultural leaders, businesses, impact investors, climate financiers, and interdisciplinary regenerators.
On March 12th to 14th, SVX MX, jointly with SVX Co, Regenera Ventures, Fundación Avina and the IDRC, co-hosted the first version of LARIS, the Latin American Regenerative Investments Summit in Bogotá Colombia. The event brought together a total participation of 213 people, (31% investors, 35% accelerators, educational institutions, NGOs, companies, government and independent consultants, 29% entrepreneurs, and 5% staff) from 19 countries.
LARIS 2025 positioned Colombia as a regional hub for regenerative finance by addressing critical themes such as nature-based solutions, territorial governance, blended finance, regenerative agriculture, and the role of public policy in enabling systemic change.
